Purpose
At Ashray Living, the safety, security, and well-being of all residents are of utmost importance. These guidelines are established to maintain a secure, disciplined, and comfortable residential environment for every resident and visitor. All residents are expected to strictly comply with the following security and safety protocols during their stay.
1. Entry & Exit Regulations
- —Residents are permitted entry and exit only during the designated timings communicated by the management.
- —Any movement outside permitted hours requires prior approval from the Property Supervisor.
- —Permission requests must be submitted in advance through the official WhatsApp number or email address provided by the management.
- —Absence of approval shall be considered as denial of permission.
- —Unauthorized exit or entry during restricted hours may result in: disciplinary action, contract termination, or security deposit forfeiture.
2. Visitor Management
- —All visitors must register themselves at the reception/security desk before entering the premises.
- —Valid identification documents may be requested by the security team.
- —Visitors are permitted only during designated visiting hours.
- —Opposite-gender visitors are restricted to reception only.
- —Visitors are not allowed to stay overnight without prior written approval from management.
- —Residents are fully responsible for the behavior and conduct of their visitors.
3. Prohibited Items & Activities
The following are strictly prohibited inside the premises:
- —Smoking, alcohol, tobacco, or narcotic substances
- —Firearms, weapons, explosives, or hazardous materials
- —Gambling or betting activities
- —Cooking using unauthorized appliances inside rooms
- —Tampering with CCTV, fire alarms, electrical systems, routers, or safety equipment
- —Ragging, bullying, harassment, or violent behavior
- —Any such violation may result in immediate disciplinary or legal action.
4. CCTV Surveillance
- —Common areas of the property are under CCTV surveillance for resident safety and security.
- —Residents must not obstruct CCTV cameras, change camera direction, or damage surveillance equipment.
- —Any interference with security systems may attract heavy penalties and disciplinary action.
5. Room & Personal Belongings Safety
- —Residents must always lock their rooms, cupboards, and personal storage units while leaving the room.
- —Keys should be handled carefully and not shared with unauthorized persons.
- —Loss of keys must be reported immediately to management.
- —Ashray Living shall not be responsible for loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings including cash, laptops, mobile phones, jewelry, or documents.
- —Residents are advised not to leave valuables unattended in rooms or common areas.
6. Fire Safety Guidelines
Residents must follow all fire safety protocols, including:
- —Do not overload electrical sockets.
- —Switch off appliances when not in use.
- —Do not use unauthorized heating or cooking appliances in rooms.
- —Tampering with fire extinguishers or emergency equipment is strictly prohibited.
- —Corridors, exits, and staircases must remain obstruction-free at all times.
- —Residents must cooperate during fire drills, inspections, or emergency evacuations.
7. Emergency Situations
In case of emergencies such as fire, medical emergency, natural calamity, security threat, or electrical hazard, residents must:
- —Remain calm
- —Follow instructions issued by the management/security team
- —Cooperate during evacuation or emergency response procedures
- —Avoid panic, crowding, or spreading misinformation
8. Online Orders & Deliveries
- —Residents are responsible for collecting their own online orders and parcels.
- —Management and security staff are not liable for missing deliveries, damaged parcels, or delivery disputes.
- —Suspicious packages may be checked in the presence of the resident for safety purposes.
9. Electrical & Infrastructure Safety
- —Residents must not interfere with electrical panels, power backup systems, Wi-Fi infrastructure, water systems, or common area power supply.
- —Switching off common area electricity to reduce bills is strictly prohibited.
- —Any maintenance issue should be immediately reported to the Property Supervisor.
10. Noise & Disturbance Control
- —Loud music, shouting, or disruptive behavior is prohibited, especially during quiet hours between 9:30 PM and 8:00 AM.
- —Residents must ensure that their behavior does not disturb roommates, neighbors, or surrounding residents.
- —Repeated disturbances may result in penalties or disciplinary action.
11. Cooperation with Security Staff
- —Residents are expected to cooperate respectfully with security personnel, housekeeping staff, property supervisors, and maintenance teams.
- —Misbehavior, abuse, or non-cooperation with staff may result in disciplinary measures.
12. Management Rights
For safety and operational reasons, management reserves the right to:
- —Conduct inspections of rooms or common areas when required
- —Temporarily relocate residents during emergency repairs or maintenance
- —Revise security rules and protocols whenever necessary
- —Residents are expected to comply with all updated guidelines communicated by management.
13. Penalties & Disciplinary Action
Violation of security or safety guidelines may lead to:
- —Warning notices
- —Monetary penalties
- —Suspension of facility privileges
- —Restriction of entry/exit
- —Termination of residency agreement
- —Legal action, if applicable
14. Resident Responsibility
Every resident shares responsibility for maintaining a safe and secure environment within Ashray Living. Residents are encouraged to:
- —Report suspicious activities immediately
- —Follow safety instructions
- —Respect fellow residents and staff
- —Maintain discipline and cleanliness
- —Use facilities responsibly
15. Lift / Elevator Safety Guidelines
- —Use lifts responsibly and do not exceed the permitted capacity.
- —Jumping, shaking, or misusing lift equipment is strictly prohibited.
- —Prior approval from the Property Supervisor is required for shifting heavy luggage or equipment through lifts.
- —Do not force open lift doors or tamper with lift controls.
- —In case of malfunction, remain calm and immediately contact security or management.
- —Lifts should not be used during fire emergencies; use staircases instead.
- —Any intentional damage to lift property will result in penalties and recovery charges.
- —Lift services may be temporarily suspended during maintenance, power backup, or emergencies for resident safety.
